How to Cheat Time : the power of prediction.

Time, said to be only an illusion and a perception, is known basically as the past, the present and the future, have you ever found yourself on a Sunday morning admiring the sunrise while sipping on your morning coffee? and it seems like only a few seconds after that, you find yourself on a busy Monday subway ride to your Job, and it seems like the cycle goes on and on until finally, your sixty something years old, on a rocking chair admiring the sunset.

It’s a pretty awesome ride this thing we call life, and we sometimes get caught up in the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives that time is left unappreciated, a wise man once said.

The only way we can truly appreciate time is by making what happens during time our own.

Not everyone enjoys time, as much as others, some even go as far as to end it immediately, and some just let it pass them by and let time happen to them.

What if I told you time is not in control, I’ll even go as far to say that it is non existent, it’s but a man made illusion to keep track of trivial things such as when to get up in the morning or when the school alarm goes off, and that time is experienced differently by each and every living thing in this world and perhaps the next, and what if I told you cheating time is a possibility, that through one simple trick you get to experience time the way you want it to go.

THE CHEAT:

One of the best examples of masters of time are chess players, they get to control time by controlling what happens during time unconsciously by what we all like to call Prediction, they have this amazing capability to make a match go their way by predicting their opponents moves from the start of the set and possibly to the end, and with this prediction of an opponents move, they get to formulate a counter for that move and eventually control what happens in-game, imagine if you applied this teachable talent in your life? How?

By fully understanding and internalizing the outcomes of ones action today, we can fully predict the results we reap tomorrow, we all have this innate ability to predict whether what we do will result to good or bad, and with this understanding we can conclude based on a very basic fact in human psychology: We experience time longer when something feels bad, and we experience time fly by on the moments that feels good.

So! make of this life and this time what you wish of it, you can either feel it go fast forward or make it go slow, but in doing so keep this in mind; from the words of Dr.King.

“It does not matter how long you live, but how well you do it.”
